FAQ
When are check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 4 pm, check-out by 11 am. Everything is digital and contactless. After online check-in and payment you receive your personal door code, around the clock.
Is there a reception?
No. The house has no reception. Check-in and door code are fully digital. If you have questions, reach us at +43 1 4420726 or gastein@bensimon.at.
Is breakfast included?
No, we do not offer breakfast or room service. In the house you will find the Residenz Café and the Residenz Bar. The suites have a kitchen and a Nespresso machine with starter capsules. The bar and café are open in the summer and winter seasons only and closed in the off-season.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, dogs and cats are welcome. We charge EUR 20 per pet per night.
Can I arrive by car and park?
Yes. We have private parking spaces near the house for EUR 10 per night and car. You book them during online check-in. The Wasserfall car park is closed for renovation and is expected to reopen for the 2026/27 winter season.
How high is the tourist tax, and what is the Gastein Card?
The tourist tax is EUR 4.50 per person and night from age 15; children under 15 are exempt. From the 4th night a one-off EUR 1.10 (FIB) is added. You receive the Gastein Card including the Salzburg Mobility Card digitally by e-mail after check-in and payment of the tourist tax.
May I smoke?
No, smoking is not allowed in the suites. In case of a violation we charge EUR 200 for special cleaning.
Is there interim cleaning on longer stays?
Yes, for stays of 5 days or more an interim cleaning is free of charge.
What is in the house besides the suites?
A ski room with a boot dryer (you can also leave luggage there free of charge), a laundry room with washing machine and dryer, the Residenz Café and the Residenz Bar.
How do I dispose of my rubbish?
You do not have to take the rubbish out yourself. Put well-sealed bags outside your door and send the team a short message. We will collect them.
Do all suites have a balcony?
No, only some suites have a balcony. A balcony is clearly marked in the suite types.
